A Day in the Life...

Have I mentioned that I work a lot? Oh, My. Gosh. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed. I'm glad when I have days off so I can re-coop and center myself. It was kind of a rough week for me, and I was surprised I just didn't hide indoors. Luckily the weather was warm, and we all decided to go out to Burlington. My wife, daughter and I did a lot of window shopping. We had yummy pizza, and found some cute vintage shops. By the time we left Barnes & Noble I was done! The anxiety started to kick in, We actually had to do "real" shopping and my heart started to race. I guess I have a four hour limit and then I expire. We were in Best Buy and all I wanted to do was get out of there. I was on sensory overload. Long story short, once we got back into town I was feeling much better, When we got home I perched myself on the couch and continued to crochet my scarf. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun! I'm also very lucky to have a family that understands what I go through. My wife and kids are very quick to help me stop the attacks before they go full blown. I love them so much!

I also got  a couple of cool books I'll be sharing with you soon! I hope you all are having a great weekend :)

  1. Looks like you still had fun! And I get what you mean, I don't go shopping a lot these days, but I hit the post-Christmas sales a few weeks back, and at the last shop I suddenly felt incredibly overwhelmed and couldn't get out of there fast enough.
But being home again with some relaxed crocheting does sound like the ultimate cure:)

Also, great mug! And so true too… Did you get one?

  2. Sounds familiar. Glad you have an awesome family who can pick up and rally round when you need them :) Looks like you had an awesome day otherwise! x

Thank you for stopping by! I absolutely love to read every one of your comments! ♥
